JASAP SELECTS NEW ALL-ISLAND SECRETARY AND BOSS OF THE YEAR

Professional Secretaries Week will be celebrated April 20 to April 26, 2008 under the theme “Administrative Professionals…the Hallmark of Professional Excellence”.

On Sunday, April 6, 2008 the All-Island Secretary and All-Island Boss of the Year were selected at a Brunch held at the Runaway Bay HEART Hotel & Training Institute, Runaway Bay. Guest Speaker was Mr. Robert Stephens, President of Pragma Consultants Limited. This event is a precursor to the celebration of Professional Secretaries Week.

Mrs. Leonie Redway, Regional Director employed to the Jamaica Library Service emerged the All-Island Boss Of The Year 2008/2009. Miss Leonie Bailey, BSc.,CPS Senior Secretary at Muirhouse Primary and Junior High School emerged the All-Island Secretary Of The Year 2008/2009..

Dr. Rosemarie Wright-Pascoe, Consultant Physician in charge of the Endocrine and Diabetes Clinics at the University of the West Indies and Senior Lecturer in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of the West Indies emerged the Runner-up Boss Of The Year. Mrs. Dianne Brown Berry, Administrative Assistant employed to the National Water Commission emerged the Runner-up All-island Secretary Of The Year 2008/2009.
